So... I am still new to this

What do I put in a blog? Just random thoughts that cross my mind? And then everyone in the world can see. Sounds... awesome. Actually, it sounds superficial and egocentric. I guess I am egocentric in a sense. Oh well.So... yes. Onto blogging about things.

My little brother has the Swine Flu. He's only five years old, so please pray for him to make it through this easily. I'm a little more than just nervous because of how many people have already died from it. However, he seems to be doing better. He's playing, staying active. Mom and I are doing our best to keep him that way. Thank God for Labor Day weekend. We need this time to help him recouperate. So thanks for your prayers. Hope I can make my next blog more interesting.

Hah!! 18 years today

Officially I'm 18 at 2:32 P.M. However, I love that it's my birthday so I'm just gonna blog about it.
My friends have been awesome, as usual and I love them for it. I'm...completely changing my hair though. And I'm kind of nervous about it, but I really hope it's going to come out amazing.

My Reply to Tansey

"As you look back on your experiences in 2008, write a reflection of a personal accomplishment or goal that you achieved related to your education here at MCHS. Include in your reflection what the accomplishment was, how you achieved this goal (the steps you took to reach this goal and any difficulties or set backs you encountered along the way), and finally, how reaching this accomplishment made you feel -- how it will impact your life, your future, or your current educational or personal life. "

Experiences in 2008? Starting from last January or the new school year, meaning August? Gee Tansey, be specific. However, I suppose my personal accomplishment as I look back on 2008 would be: getting accepted into Georgia State University.

I am normally a procrastinator, but I knew I wanted to go to college. I sent my application months before the deadline and was thrilled to recieve the letter of acceptance. I know I will not be a bum on the side of the road. I am going to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, and will move to New York. It is interesting how a piece of paper can determine your life.
